I have been teaching at St. Mary School for the last 23 years. I began my career at St. Mary's in 1993 as a substitute teacher and was hired for the 1994-95 school year as a Kindergarten/Music teacher. Four years later, I began teaching second grade. I taught second grade for the next 15 years (with six and half years of music sandwiched in). I then taught 1st grade for 2 years. I am currently starting my third year as the school's Combined Arts teacher.
As the Combined Arts teacher, I have the opportunity to work with every student every day. This position involves teaching a different special each day. These specials include: Music, Computers, Art, and Phy. Ed.. It is great watching the students discover and develop talents that some of them don't even know they have.
Over the past 23 years I have had the opportunity to work with many great faculty and staff members, students, and parents, and can't imagine working anywhere else. Being a teacher gives me the opportunity, each year, to work with a new group of students with unique personalities and ideas, which makes every day an adventure. I feel truly blessed to be teaching in a school where I am able to impact so many little lives by sharing my knowledge and faith, helping them to become lifelong learners and followers of Christ.
I am a 1980 graduate of St. Mary School and a 1986 graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School. I graduated from Lakeland College in 1993, with a BA in Elementary Education and a Math minor. Before attending Lakeland College, I attended UW-Oshkosh for two years.
I have been married to my husband, Lee for 29 years. We have 3 sons, Zachary, Tyler, and Brice, and I am extremely proud and excited to announce that we have an addition to our family,
I HAVE A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zach and Amber were married on September 16th.
